Meghalaya CM Office Attacked; Stone-pelters Surround Conrad Sangma | Five Security Men Injured

Five security personnel were injured in a mob attack on Meghalaya Chief Minister’s office. Hundreds of people surrounded Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma’s office and pelted it with stones. Garo Hills-based civil society groups have been demanding a winter capital in Tura. The assault started when Sangma was in the midst of a meeting with the agitated groups. Protesters have blocked access to roads nearby the CM’s office. Watch the video for more.
