ISRO has released the first images of the moon captured by Chandrayaan-3. The spacecraft captured the images after entering the moon’s orbit on Saturday. The 40-second clip gives a glimpse of the intricate details of the moon’s craters. ISRO said Chandrayaan-3 captured these images during Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) on August 5. The moon mission has been smooth so far, and the ISRO expects the Vikram Lander to make a soft landing on the lunar surface later this month, on August 23.
