Chinese scientist Ouyang Ziyuan, who is known as the father of China’s lunar exploration programme, has questioned ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3’s landing on the moon’s south pole. Ziyuan said, “The landing site of Chandrayaan-3 is not at the lunar south pole, not in the lunar south pole region, nor is it near the lunar south pole region.” However, the US’ NASA and European Space Agency (ESA) lauded ISRO’s historic moon feat.
