India is preparing for the maiden trial of a highly anticipated long-range anti-ship missile. The new missile is supposed to have a range of over 500 km, more than BrahMos. According to reports, the trial is scheduled to take place early next month. The notice to airmen (NOTAM) suggests that the test will be conducted between October 5 and 9.
