Connecting Regions of Asia.

About Us

The Eastern Link is focussed on Asia ‘s most important link region — East and Northeast India , Bangladesh and Myanmar that links South with Southeast Asia and East Asia . This region holds the key to  the success or failure of many regional groupings like BIMSTEC, BCIM AND BBIN and connectivity plans like China’s Belt & Road Initiative and India’s Act East. Connecting two of the world’s fastest growing economies and a rising tiger in Bangladesh, for about nearly 40 percent of the global population, and some of the Asian Tiger economies, this link region needs to seen as a seamless trans-national space rather than through the prism of restrictive national sovereignities that dot post-colonial Asia.
