Assam reports 9 Covid19 deaths, 450 new cases in 48 hours



Assam has reported 9 more deaths due to Covid19 infection in the last 48 hours.

The state recorded a total of 450 new Covid19 positive cases in the last 48 hours.

Sharing the data regarding Assam’s Covid19 status, health minister Keshab Mahanta on Thursday evening tweeted that the state registered a total of 200 Covid19 new cases.

Assam reported 4 Covid19 deaths on Thursday, health minister Mahanta informed.

On Thursday, Assam’s Overall Positivity Percentage stood at 0.53%.

The new positive cases were detected out of 37,525 tests done in the last 24 hours.

Of the new cases, the Kamrup Metro district reported 77.

The state’s Covid19 Recovery Rate stood at 98.50% on Thursday.

“Summary of 18/11/2021 –  Today’s Total 200; Overall Positivity Percentage (200 cases out of 37,525 test done = 0.53%); Kamrup (M) 77; Death 4;  Recovery Rate 98.50%,” Assam health minister Mahanta tweeted.

On Wednesday, Assam recorded a total of 250 new Covid19 cases.

Assam reported the death of 5 people fur to Covid19 infection on Wednesday.

The state’s Overall Positivity Percentage stood at 0.51% on Wednesday.

The new cases were detected out of 49,048 tests in the last 24 hours.

Kamrup Metro reported 106 new cases on Wednesday.

The Recovery Rate on Wednesday stood at 98.49%.
