China Entry More Difficult

Getting into China will become even harder .
From Saturday this week,   new government rules will require travelers to obtain not just a nucleic acid test for the coronavirus but also a blood test for antibodies against the virus.
Both tests have to be performed less than 48 hours before departure and both need the concurrent  approval by a Chinese embassy or consulate.
The Chinese government is guarding against a fresh eruption that it fears could be caused by foreign travellers, specially from countries where the pandemic is still raging.
Consular officials in those countries, like US and India, have been warned to carefully check test reports of visa-seekers.
