Salman Khan and Disha Patani starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was set to hit the screens during the festive weekend of Eid. But due to the global crisis of coronavirus, the action-entertainer has been pushed ahead at the box office and now the latest reports suggest that now the makers are planning to release the film during the auspicious occasion of Diwali. A source close to the film told Mid-Day, “First, Salman will film the Radhe song with Disha Patani. The number was originally supposed to be shot in Azerbaijan, but now they will film it in a studio. Some patchwork shoot is pending as well. The makers are eyeing a Diwali release.”
Since he missed this year Eid Diwali, Salman Khan is reworking on the dates of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, so he can complete the shoot and release the film on the scheduled time (Eid). Directed by Farhad Samji, the film features Pooja Hegde in a key role. “the team is currently reworking the dates. Salman has his heart set on the film. After being unable to meet his fans on Eid this year, he wants to bowl them over with his 2021 Eid offering,” added the source.
The film, which is the Indianised version of The Outlaws has three action directors, which have choreographed the stunts sequences. With one being a Korean action director, the other two are Anbu-Arivu (twins), who choreographed the action-sequences of Yash’s KGF. Directed by Prabhudheva, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai also stars Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Gautam Gulati in key roles.
Talking about a sequence, Randeep earlier told Mumbai Mirror, “There is this five-minute single shot for which my co-actor, who was on the heavy side, had to jump on my back. The stunt team insisted on several takes. When we were on the 18th one, my knee gave way,” Randeep recalls that he tried hard but the pain was intense and later he was rushed to hospital. “Ironically, they finally settled for the first take.” While the actor avoids playing negative roles, he came on board because of Salman Khan’s request as he said, “I respect Salman as a person and an actor. He has a certain way of working and since we have collaborated before, I am used to it and we had a lot of fun.” He further added, “I chased Salman in Kick and coached him in Sultan. This time, I’m testing him to see how much he has learnt from me as his character hunts for mine.”
